Mac Miller is still changing lives through his charity! The Mac Miller Circles Fund has raised more $700,000 to help children in his hometown.
Sources say that the donations from fans and loved ones have been coming in like crazy and have totaled $350,000. Proceeds will be used to provide programs and opportunities to the children in the Pittsburgh area “helping them recognize their full potential through exploration in the arts and community building.”
In addition to the $350k, the money from the “Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life” tribute concert from back in October, which raised about $350,000 as well, has helped the foundation raise a total of $700,000 since the late rapper passed away.
The tribute concert happened in L.A.’s Greek Theater and hosted an entire list of performances from the rapper’s old friends including Chance the Rapper, Travis Scott, SZA and John Mayer.
Mac passed away at 26, yet his legacy will live on forever.
