WELL DAMN!

Twitter was NOT having it with rapper Tory Lanez yesterday as many took the  singer’s birthday as an opportunity to launch a deportation campaign.

In the wake of the much talked about incident with Megan Thee Stallion, which lead to Lanez being arrested on felony gun charges after Meg was allegedly shot in both of her feet by him, many Stallion fans are calling for the complete cancellation of the Canada native.

Lanez has kept extremely quiet after his release from jail, so there was no sign of the now 28-year-old OVO artist celebrating his 2020 quarantine birthday. While Lanez was retreating, Meg took the opportunity to hit up her Instagram live to address everything that has gone down and she tearfully thanked all of her fans who have kept her lifted with good energy but she also confirmed the events of that ill-fated night. Meg’s appearance on live only lead people to get Tory trending on social media with a widely spread petition to have him removed from the United States.

The Change.org petition was launched on Tory’s birthday, July 27th and thousands of fans have not only signed the petition but also took to social media to criticize and cancel Lanez. According to the petition, many are not please with Tory as the request states:

Deport Tory Lanez (Daystar Peterson) back to Canada and ban him from coming to America FOREVER. This little 5’3 man with a big ego has contributed nothing to the American Economy, and promotes violence and violence against women. Furthermore, he should be banned from the United States FOREVER for intentionally trying to harm Megan the Stallion. SEND HIM BACK TO CANADA ASAP!

Fans also expressed their outrage for Tory and their genuine concern for Megan Thee Stallion via social media as well. Peep those reactions below!
