Activist Tamika Mallory Talks Policing & Patrolling, White Aggression in America, Being A Leader in The Black Community & More

Activist Tamika Mallory stopped by Nick Cannon Mornings and discussed entertainers getting more into their own voice, policing and patrolling, falling back from the Black Lives Matter term, white supremacy, and being a leader in the Black community.

With everything going on during this crazy year, Nick commended Tamika by saying she is one of our leaders and the activist told Nick, “I think we’re in a leader full movement. I think there’s lots of people that I meet on the ground across this country, If I started to name people that I admire, who are doing work in their local communities, and even nationally, we wouldn’t be able to even get through this interview. Particularly Black women everywhere, I think that moments in history come when some of our voices will be elevated because, in that moment, we’re needed to articulate the feelings, the passion, the rage, whatever it is that people are going through. And to use the God-given skills that we have to help get our people organized and encouraged. I think that is where I’m sitting.

The two also talked about justice for Breonna Taylor, Attorney General of Kentucky, Daniel Cameron, white aggression in America, and more.
