Earlier this year, Birdman confirmed that Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V would definitely be dropping in 2018. Even though legal problems have been at the top of the list for the YMCMB leaders, it seemed like Birdman’s word would come through, when the two were spotted in a Miami reunion.

Today, it has been revealed that Weezy just scored a major dub with the Cash Money Records lawsuit.

According to Billboard, Wayne’s lawyer, Howard King, filed documents stating that all sides in the $51 million lawsuit were willing to move forward and dismiss the case. Lil Tunechi reportedly walked away from the settlement with ‘well over $10 million.’

While it hasn’t been confirmed how much Wayne received from the settlement, the news definitely hints that the much anticipated Tha Carter V will be dropping any time now.
