Post Malone has come under fire for his recent comments on his perspective of hip-hop music.
The ‘Rockstar’ rapper has received a lot of backlash for saying that hip-hop is not for people who might be ‘looking for lyrics’ or ‘real sh*t.’
Malone sat down with Poland’s NewOnce where he discussed an array of topics including working with Kanye West on ‘Fade,’ some crucial moments of his career, as well as sharing his take on rap music.
The rapper/singer said:
If you’re looking for lyrics, if you’re looking to cry, if you’re looking to think about life, don’t listen to hip-hop. There’s great hip-hop songs when they talk about life and they spit that real sh*t, but right now, there’s not a lot of people talking about sh*t.
Malone later took to his twitter to stand by his comments.
it’s crazy that after all this time im still being questioned. suck my fucking dick i don’t have to explain shit. i do this shit because i love to do this shit.
