#TBT: Cali Christmas Artist Ice Cube Lakers & Dodgers Anthems [LISTEN]

Cali Christmas artist Ice Cube and I go way back!  In honor of throwback Thursday, the Lakers’ win last night, and of course our Dodgers I’m throwing it back to the two sports anthems that Cube and I created back in 2010 and 2013.  Ice Cube jumped on both my Los Angeles Lakers and Dodgers anthems and laid down some dope verses.

The “Lakers Anthem” brought together Ice Cube, Ray J, Chino XL, Roscoe Umali, Lil Rob, and the New Boyz.  Each artist expressed their love for Los Angeles and the best team in the NBA, the Lakers!  Ice Cube raps, “Watch Kobe Bryant off em in the finals so often, Always on fire.  Keep ’em chunkin’ an coughin’ off that California purple.  That Laker purple in the air, c’mon everybody, Paul Pierce need his wheelchair”.

The “Dodgers Anthem” features Ice Cube, Ty Dolla $ignWarren GTygaProblem, and Chino XL rapping over Drake’s  “Started From The Bottom”.  The rappers take shots are other baseball teams that couldn’t possibly measure up to our L.A. Dodgers!  Ice Cube exclaims, “Aye yo, Felli – how do you kill a bird with a bat? We ain’t trippin on no Cardinals, no Red Sox, no A’s, no tigers, It’s all about that World Series Ring, Don’t mean a thing if you ain’t got that ring!”

Check out the throwback anthems below and go get your Cali Christmas to see Ice Cube here.

For more hip-hop updates stay tuned in to DJ Felli Fel every afternoon from 3p-7p.
