Ar’Mon Warren Drops Highly Anticipated Music Video For “Assignment”

Ar’Mon Warren is best known for being one half of R&B duo Ar’Mon & Trey, but
now he’s shifting the focus to his own solo artistry. Now, the Detroit native
returns to drop his highly-anticipated new single and visual for “Assignment,”
a smooth, R&B anthem inspired directly by his alter ego.

Ar’Mon explains, “I’m a humble person so I feel if I do talk my shit, it’ll be in my
music. I think this song is Ar’Money. [laughs] My other songs are Ar’Mon, but I
feel when I’m in this type of bag, this Ar’Money.”

The creative vision behind the music video is simply grown and sexy, with the
song, the beat, and the lyrics going hand in hand. And while some of the more
sensual lyrics may surprise long-time fans, Ar’Mon wants supporters to
understand the difference between Ar’Money and Ar’Mon.

Speaking on how his sound has evolved, Ar’Mon states, “I’ve always felt
comfortable in the studio, but of course doing it alone now is a little different.
But my brother would write songs and bring it to the group, and vice versa, so
working alone is fine. My sound is being birthed right now as we speak and I
can see and feel it forreal.”

The “Assignment” video follows Ar’Mon’s previous releases for “These Games”
and “I Caught You” starring Reginae Carter (Lil Wayne’s daughter). Ar’Mon will
also be performing at SOB’s in New York, the same day the new single drops
on June 2nd.
