6lack stops by Power 106 with DJ Carisma. 6lack is a grammy nominated and platinum-selling singer/rapper. He tells DJ Carisma his reason for getting back into the music. He wanted to make sure his personal life was good before putting out new music. 6lack is reintroducing himself to the world with his new album “Since I Have A Lover.” 

6lack and DJ Carisma connect on being parents and 6lack says how having a daughter has changed his perspective in life, “makes you put things into perspective, it makes you be a little more responsible, more accountable, more patient and I’ve taken that approach in my music too.” At only 6 years old, 6lack reveals his daughter did background vocals in his album “Since I Have A Lover.
