Jamaica’s own Skillibeng stopped through the Power 106 studios for the first time, to chop it up with DJ Carisma during the latest installment of the “Checc’d In” series.

As dancehall and afrobeat continue to carry the reggae style to more international heights, Skillibeng has found much success with his already solidified catalog and with collabs connecting him with Nicki Minaj, Fivio Foreign, and French Montana already under his belt. Speaking on his “Crocodile Teeth” track with Minaj, Skillibeng talks about the unexpected “power moment” when Queen Nicki hopped on the song’s remix.
