According to Pop Smoke’s manager Rico Beats, a second posthumous album could come to streaming services really soon.

The news was announced via social media on Saturday (May 1) with a post of Beats seen taking a photo in front of a mirror with the caption “I see and hear everything kept it cool tho no worries pay back around the corner Pop smoke new album loading,…”

It is unknown of when we should expect this project, but Steven Victor, the music executive who owns the label Pop Smoke was signed with was seen in the comments reaffirming the announcement. In January 2021, Victor responded to a fan in comments who questioned if more posthumous Pop Smoke albums were in the works. He responded “There will be.”

Pop Smoke’s sophomore album will follow his record-breaking debut release, ‘Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon,’ which released last July. The album is currently one of the top 10 records on the Billboard 200 and to date has earned the late rapper 10 nominations for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.
