Teddy Mora and DJ Carisma of the Power 106 Morning Show kick off the week with all the news that went down in the culture over the weekend, starting off with the details of Lil Wayne pleading guilty to a federal gun charge that stemmed from a 2019 incident. Also this weekend, the hyped Verzuz Battle with Ashanti and Keyshia Cole was unfortunately postponed due to Ashanti testing positive for Covid-19. While we were all looking forward tot he battle, we are definitely sending well wishes to Ashanti during her recovery and excited for the next Verzuz with E-40 and Too $hort. The Daily Dose duo also run down the sexual double standards in music after Snoop Dogg made some remarks about Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” track.
