Boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya is out of retirement and his entire career has prepared him for his return to the sport of boxing and his current outlook on life.
Speaking with the Power 106 Morning Show duo Teddy Mora and Melissa Rios, De La Hoya is joined by his close business partner Don Buccio to catch us up on their latest venture of their Mexican American established Casa Mexico tequila. As the new tequila brand is backed by the famed boxer, Buccio, and actor Mario Lopez, the two business partners speak on the heritage that inspired the spirit and even boasts that Casa Mexico could possibly be better than the popular Don Julio 1942 brand.
Oscar also goes on to give the Power 106 hosts some insight into why he’s come out of retirement, citing that another boxing pro and legend Mike Tyson inspired his return, explains how his past experiences in the ring has impacted his authenticity now and his desire to spread knowledge to younger generations, and whether or not he wants to go up against Floyd Mayweather, plus much more.
