There is no doubt that we have all endured one of the toughest years of a generation and while many continue to feel its wrath and the exhaustion of disappointment, Eric Bellinger has teamed up with Filipino singer-songwriter and pop stars Inigo Pascual, Sam Concepcion, Malaysian artist Zee Avi, Manila-based DJ Moophs and BTS co-composer Vince Nantes to bring some light at the end of this darkening tunnel.
As we’ve seen with the Black Eyed Peas hit, “Where Is The Love” after 9/11 in 2003 & again in 2016 after a series of injustices across the world, music has always helped counteract negativity in the most challenging times. Delivering their latest global collaborative effort with a purpose, “RISE” is a cross-cultural message of hope to ascend above the weights and issues that continue to bring us down and serves as a reminder to keep faith for a better tomorrow.
In an official press release for the new hopeful message, international pop star Ingio states, “Music is a universal language, it could help bring together people that might not even speak the same language. During COVID or quarantine, people aren’t able to do things they normally do like travel or work, but one this is constant and that is music is always there to help you cope with any situation you are going thru. For me, not only creating music but listening to music is therapy, and I think that during the pandemic more people are looking to music to stay positive.”
