Councilmember Wesson on the Biggest Problem Currently in Society – “The presumption of criminality”

President of the Los Angeles City Council, Herb Wesson, joins Nick Cannon in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and civil unrest to talk about today’s movement in society. Councilmember Wesson says that the country is coming together and he believes “that this is one of those moments in history – one of those rare moments – where we can change the world.” He adds, “It is very important that we don’t let individuals who have their own agenda take us off message, hijack the message or change the narrative. This is about healing a criminal justice system that is flawed and does not serve people of color.”
