It’s the day we’ve been waiting 365 days for…

Every year when it comes to the Grammys, there are always going to be a difference of opinions. There are those who the public feel may have been snubbed, and of course so many deserving, hardworking artists. The vote will never truly be unanimous, and this year’s nominations are a bit different than previous years.

Lizzo is leading this years noms with 8 in total. Thankfully due to the ability to work around some technicalities, she is up for Best New Artist, Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year. Some other notable nominations include, Lil Nas X for Album Of The Year and Dreamville’s ROD3 is up for Best Rap Album; if the collective were to win, not only would J. Cole take home his first Grammy, but so would Ari Lennox, J.I.D, Smino, Omen, Bas, Cozz EarthGang and many other artists featured on the project.

The 62nd annual Grammy Awards will take place on January 26, 2020 and your host is Alicia Keys.
