Although, Big Sean has been keeping busy featuring on other artists tracks, he has been quiet for over a year now when it comes to his own music. The last piece of music that Sean Don dropped himself was his Double or Nothing album which was entirely produced by Metro Boomin.

Last night, Big Sean took to social media to announce his long-awaited return to the game. He uploaded a video of him recording his new single, including a snippet of the new track. He then announced when the track will be released. He posted, “New music tomorrow. 12p Detroit time,” followed by the word “OVERTIME” which seems to be the title of the track.

In the snippet for the track he seems to reference his break up with singer Jhené Aiko, as well as living with depression.

“I didn’t take a break my n*gga, I broke/ Broke my heart, broke my soul. Don’t cry for me though,” Sean spits on camera in what looks to be a studio mic in front of a neon sign that reads “Don Life.”
