Apparently Lil Nas X has an arsenal of remixes tucked in the vault.

So far we have two “Old Town Road” remixes. The first one was of course with Billy Ray Cyrus. This is what skyrocketed the track to the top of the charts. THEN, last week, fans got a REMIX remix. Lil Nas released another version this time featuring himself, Billy Ray Cyrus, Young Thug and Mason Ramsey.

Now a snippet of Lil Wayne spitting over the song’s instrumental has been leaked. At first fans speculated that Tunechi might have been sampling the song…or maybe its another one of his famous freestyles?!

Wrong and wrong. During an interview with XXL Mag the “Lollipop” rapper says Lil Nas hit him to hop on the remix, remix, REMIX. That’s the third remix. Keeping up? “They sent it to me and I did it as an official remix. I’m not sure if they was gonna use it.” Weezy revealed to the outlet. Oh really?!

You probably know by now “Old Town Road” has been breaking records, and its very much on its way to become the longest running #1 song IN HISTORY. Yes you read that right. The track the currently holds the spot is Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men’s “One Sweet Day”, that stayed on the top of the charts for 16 weeks. IF “Old Town Road” is number one for another week, it will tie with “One Sweet Day”; if it makes it two more weeks it will be the longest running #1 song ever.

No word yet on if the leaked remix will actually see the light of day, but if it does, this could be a great move on Lil Nas’s part to make sure he secures that top spot for just a few more weeks. Time just named the “Panini” rapper one of the most influential people on the internet. So he might just have the power. Take a look at the pic he posted below:
