Cardi B caught wind of the criticism that Jermain Dupri threw at female rappers nowadays, and she wasn’t going to let it slide.

The So So Def founder went on an interview with People yesterday, and he had some things to say! “I feel they’re all rapping about the same thing,” he said. “For me, it’s like strippers rapping and as far as rap goes I’m not getting who’s the best.” Oh, he went there!

You all know Cardi B wasn’t here for that!. Okurr! She took to Instagram to post herself going off on J.D. She said, “First of all, I rap about my p**sy because she’s my best friend and second of all it’s because it seems like that’s what people want to hear.” Is she wrong though?

She ended with shouting out female rappers who don’t get enough support for rapping about actual issues. Cardi urged her fans, the media, and radio stations to give them a listen and show them love.
