Kim Kardashian has partnered with Lyft in order to help thousands of ex-prisoners get back on their feet.

Kim recently made the announcement during a trip to The White House. She announced that her partnership with Lyft will allow up to 5,000 soon-to-be released inmates to receive transportation to job interviews.

The biggest group of prisoners who have been granted their release will reportedly get out of prison July 19.

Mrs. Kardasian-West has worked tirelessly on both local and federal levels to make sure that ex-prisoners will be provided with employment opportunities and housing. She has visited prisons across the country getting to know prisoners and possible injustices that they faced. She also spent some time getting to know the prisoners on death row.

This was Kim’s second visit to the White House in about a year, and most likely not the last.
