Billboard’s Top Songwriters Of 2018 Include Drake, Cardi B, Post Malone + MORE

Billboard announced their top songwriters as well as producers of last year, peep the list below.

Looking at the list of the top 10 songwriters of last year, reminds you how much can change in a year. This time last year, two artists dominating the charts were XXXTentacion and Tekashi 6ix9ine, who also both made the list. Last June XXXTentacion was sadly murdered while leaving a motorsports store in Florida and 6ix9ine is on trial for racketeering charges and could face a life sentence if convicted. It’s no surprise some of hip-hops big names like Drake, Cardi and Posty made the cut but there may be a few names you don’t recognize at first.

Now it doesn’t say this is in ranking order but one can only assume. So starting at the top, we have Ed Sheeran, the Drake no surprise, Louis Bell who has written for Post Malone, then Post Malone himself, XXXTentacion, Frank Dukes who has written for Travis Scott, next is Cardi B, following her is hubby Offset, John Cunningham was XXXTentacion’s producer with the #9 spot, and in 10th is 6ix9ine.
