Ty Dolla $ign and J. Cole on a track?! Sign me up. Earlier today, the Los Angeles rapper unleashed his latest single titled “Purple Emoji,” featuring the Dreamville founder himself. The 2.5-minute track serves as Ty$’s lead single off his forthcoming project, which has yet to be named.
“Purple Emoji” is an ode to your significant other, seeing both artists trading verses about the special lady in their life. As for the song’s title, J. Cole spits in the second verse: “Purple emojis with horns on it / Like the devil, but ain’t nothin’ devilish, babe.” Just a few days prior, Ty sent Genius the song’s lyrics — entirely made of emojis. Does it get any more epic than that?
