While most people are “chasing” a bag, I’m pretty sure that this point…the bags are chasing Rihanna.

YESSS QUEEN! The R&B Diva/fashion killa/beauty guru/literal angel on earth just secured yet ANOTHER bag! Rihanna has made a deal with French luxury goods conglomerate, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. The fashion group says that the Fenty will be the newest line to join their impressive catalog of brands including, Céline, Dior, Givenchy and Fendi among others. The New York Times reported that Rihanna will also become the “first woman to create an original brand at LVMH and the first woman of color at the top of an LVMH maison.”

Fenty Maison is the first new house the group has seen since 1987, when they added Christian Lacroix. Wondering what to expect from the line? It is set to be a Paris-based collection of ready-to-wear shoes and accessories and is coming “soon”. LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault addressed the newss in a statement today saying, “Everybody knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur, a real C.E.O. and a terrific leader.”

Apparently a team of experts have been hard at work since January and rumor had it, that the Fenty Maison launch might coincide with her long-awaited ninth studio album. O-M-G my heart! So while we were all tripping that Rih was MIA from the Met Gala, sis said SHE is the designer AND THAT’S THE TEA!
