The morning show discussed a tweet from Logic venting about the difficulties artists have with sample clearances.

Logic tweeted yesterday, “Just want to take a moment and say, F*** sample clearance. F*** clearing samples. F*** people taking all a producers money for not doing shit and f*** the companies that say no just cuz. This is hip hop. I’m tired of replaying shit. F*** the money. This why mixtapes was so good.”

Noah explains from a producers standpoint why sampling still takes talent and goes through the potential very difficult process of trying to clear a sample for those who may not understand the ins and outs of the music industry.
