Festival season is finally among us!

The highly-anticipated Coachella festival has combined artists of all genres to take the desert stage for the weekend. Some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B on the line up this year include Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalifa Childish Gambino, Khalid, and YG just to name a few. For those of us who can’t attend the festivities, the entire event will be on live stream on YouTube, so you wont miss a moment.

Among the many artists that hit the stage today (Friday) on hip-hop’s list of artists was Jaden Smith. The rapper’s slot was opened up by his sister Willow, hanging from a harness high above the stage. The “Icon Living” rapper came out hype as ever. He had a white Tesla hovering above the crowd, with falcon wings wide open which he eventually performed on top of.

Anderson .Paak took the stage following Smith, and of course, brought his contagious vibe and dance moves to the stage. Andy opened up on the drums with his band, The Free Nationals. He closed his set taking a moment to pay homage to the late and great Nipsey Hussle, as well as Mac Miller and performed their song “Dang!”
