Anderson .Paak gifted fans with a hint of nostalgia, and he’s enlisted none other than Smokey Robinson to help him do it. Paak’s newest single, “Make It Better” delivers smooth vocals and a touch of soul from both Smokey and .Paak himself. “Make It Better” gives off a different vibe than Anderson’s preceding single, “King James,” which leads fans to believe the upcoming album Ventura  will have a diverse sound to it.

The “Trippy” rapper is not new to putting us in our feelings, and the music video for this track does exactly that. The visual tells the story of a young couple falling in love, and all the ups and downs that comes with it. The video ultimately follows the lyrics beautifully, leaving the couple asking “Do you want to make it better?/Do you want to stay together?”

If this Smokey Robinson-featured gem has you wanting more, Ventura is set to drop on April 12th, 2019 and boasts guest appearances from names like Jazmine Sullivan, André 3000, and the late Nate Dogg. In the meantime, check out the video for “Make It Better” below!
