We have not heard much of Rick Ross since the drop of his single with Future, “Green Gucci Suit” and his feature on Meek Mill’s Championships project. This could be because the Maybach Music boss was actually working on a book deal.

Ross announced that he will be dropping a memoir this September entitled Hurricanes, which will shine a little light on his private life, including his time as a drug dealer in Miami and his heart-related health issues. The synopsis also promises that Rozay will be opening up about “the experiences that inform his creative process.”

The Florida native employed Neil Martinez-Belkin, the co-author behind The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, to help pen his story. When asked about his book, Ross stated:

“My story has always been deeper than rap. With this book I wanted to go deeper than I ever have. I wanted to tell people about the life of William Leonard Roberts.”
