So last year we remember the viral challenges like the tide pod challenge and the “In My Feelings” challenge that went from 1-100 REAL QUICK, causing some people to obtain serious injuries. It’s only the second day of the year, and que the Birdbox Challenge. Netflix issued this message to fans of the film via their twitter account:
Can’t believe I have to say this, but: PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE. We don’t know how this started, and we appreciate the love, but Boy and Girl have just one wish for 2019 and it is that you not end up in the hospital due to memes.

Jesus take the wheels is RIGHT. *Sigh* new year same bs it’s seems y’all. When will people learn? Here’s hoping people learned from the previous challenges gone wrong. The starts on the film have yet to comment on Netflix’s statement.
