Dave East has given fans a hint of when to expect his debut album. The Harlem rapper has stated that his album title will be called Survival and will drop either February or March as details are still in the works.

Although it hardly seems like a debut, the Harlem rapper has dropped a total of fourteen mixtapes and two EP’s consistently over the past several years. Dave officially signed to Def Jam in 2016 claiming that teaming up with the Def Jam would get his platform more exposure. Since being under Def Jam he has released four projects including a collaboration album with Styles P and hasn’t slowed down since.

Dave has been making a lot of noise in the streets and continued the buzz by releasing new music, a single entitled Wit Me this past Friday. In the song Dave displays his self awareness by reflecting on his past while also being appreciative of his new found success. Dave has yet to confirm if the song will be featured on his album.
