HOUSTON, TX - AUGUST 22: Rapper Tekashi69, real name Daniel Hernandez and also known as 6ix9ine, Tekashi 6ix9ine, Tekashi 69, arrives for his arraignment on assault charges in County Criminal Court #1 at the Harris County Courthouse on August 22, 2018 in Houston, Texas. It seems like Tekashi just can’t catch a break. All was going well for the rainbow haired rapped until just a few weeks ago. After he was taken into custody by the feds on November 19th it appears to be one thing after the other for him.

He is now facing a series of federal charges, including racketeering and firearm charges and as of now things aren’t looking too good. This morning TMZ reported, 6ix9ine has now officially issued a plea of “Not Guilty” and his trial date is now set for next fall—September 4th, 2019 to be exact.

Reports are also saying there is a good chance that Tekashi could spend that time awaiting his trail behind bars. Since his arrest, his lawyer Lance Lazarro has been trying to get him out on bail, offering up the entire amount in his bank account, his passport and on the condition that he remain on house arrest. Unfortunately for 69, the judge aint’ havin it! Now, both his and his mother’s bank account remain frozen. DANG—that’s cold.

The reason sources say, that the feds want him to remain behind bars, is they believe he was heavily involved in gang activity. This includes an armed robbery earlier this year, making him a danger to others. Lazarro says that Tekashi’s gang affiliated persona is only a front for his music career.

Last week his team announced his album DUMMY BOY would be pushed back indefinitely.

WELL producer Murda Beatz then suggested that he might leak the project, when he uploaded the cover art with the caption “I HAVE THE ALBUM SHOULD I…..”. DUMMY BOY may have been leaked over the weekend on a “6ix9ineshop” website. Tech-savvy fans say they found the unreleased project with a quick search. Now some of 69’s fans are in Murda’s comment with the snake emoji *sips tea* this is heating up.
