Looks like there is a new friendly rivalry going down, and it is between Tory Lanez and Joyner Lucas.

Tory Lanez went on Instagram live and boldly stated that he was better than every rapper in the game, including legends Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole. Lucas took offense to the Love Me Now? rapper’s proclamations so he challenged Tory to a drop a freestyle.

What started off as a simple Instagram live slowly turned into a rap battle. The two rappers decided that the winner would be decided by the public. Less than 24 hours after the initial challenge, Tory dropped the first freestyle by rapping over Eminem’s “Lucky You” which Lucas happens to be featured on. In the freestyle Tory Lanez goes straight for the jugular as he states “I’m literally at the spot that he said he’d be at, but where he at?”.

Quick to clap back, Lucas put out his own track,  “Litty Freestylewhich had some major comebacks like, We already got Drake, we don’t need another.”  Joyner took a couple shoots at. After Joyner uploaded his freestyle to instagram Tory then commented on Joyner Lucas video and said “Loved It….This was cute.”
