The Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee has passed away today, November 12, at the age of 95.

Much of the Marvel Universe creation is due to the late comic book author, who is responsible for countless superhero characters like Spiderman, Captain America, Thor, and so many more. According to TMZ, the publisher was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Monday morning where he later died. Lee had previously suffered from several illnesses over the last years of his life, including battling pneumonia and vision illnesses.

Stan’s creativity and impact is not only felt in the novelty world, but many hip hop artists have taken to social media to express their grievances over Lee’s passing. Artists and Hollywood A-listers alike, from Lil Yachty, Travis Scott, Juicy J, to Ice T, Rosario Dawson, Robert Downey Jr. and more, have all honored the legendary creator by paying their respects via their social outlets.

Rest In Peace Stan Lee.
