Last weekend, the new HBO series: “The Shop,” starring LeBron James and Maverick Carter, was brought to life with a full barbershop experience where attendees could “chop it up” while getting a free fade!
Celebrity barbers such as Marcus Harvey, Donald Long, Geiva and Jabree Turner, who are known for their pristine cuts atop the heads of celebrities such as Nas, Ty Dolla $ign, Ludacris, and more, came together and provided free haircuts for all attendees throughout the weekend.
Nas, Shiggy, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie were just a few of the dozens of celebrities that stopped by for a free fade.
Not only did attendees get to “chop it up” with the barbers, but they were also able to sit in on panel discussions with Capitol and Motown Records that the barbershop activation hosted.
If networking opportunities and free haircuts were not enough, “The Shop” activation even teamed up with SneakerLab and provided free sneaker cleaning and protection for attendees!
“Anyone who has been in a real barbershop, like the ones where I grew up, knows why this show can be so incredible,” states Lebron James.
With its “real-life” barbershop experience at ComplexCon and an anticipated 4th episode airing soon, the buzz that “The Shop” is creating nationwide is nothing short of astounding.
Who do you want to see “chop it up” on the next episode?
