Kyle and Lil Yachty are in the studio working on another collab. Kyle teased the song yesterday on his Instagram and it’s apparently called “Hey Julie”. Who is this mystery girl with the “wet, wet, wet” and “drip drip”? Well its none other than…their jeweler! Yes, the new song is set to be a love letter to their jeweler who clearly keeps them pretty icy. Hey, she’s probably loving, loyal, faithful, they can always count on her, why would she NOT deserve a love song?
Kyle and Lil Yachty both do the feel-good, catchy vibes really well and this song seems like it will be no different. The two previously teamed up for “iSpy” that hits No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs, and went Top 5 on the Hot 100. In the video posted to Kyle’s Instagram, the two can be seen in studio session and fans get a speak peak at their workflow as they come up with the melody for the hook. Yachty first tries it out before Kyle corrects him, encouraging him to repeat the melody in a very catchy way.
The hook goes: ”Hey Julie, heard you got that wet wet wet/ Something for my neck neck neck/ Hey Julie, heard you got that drip, got that drip/ Something for my wrist/ for my wrist,”
