India Love dropped in Power 106 for our very own #NowYouKnowSegment. Raised in Compton she talks about the lifestyle she had living there and moving to Corona. Love goes on to detail some of her biggest musical influences which are Cassie, Kelis, Nicki Minaj and Smino.

The Loco rapper shares how her success is largely with the help of Black Eyed Pea’s rapper Will.i.am. Their relationship started when when he first asked her to be in one of his music videos. From there it progressed to working as a brand ambassador for his Apple headphones and saw her potential to want to work with her as an artist. She adds following that conversation they then made her first single “Loco.”
