Lil Wayne and Odell Beckham sat down for an interview with ESPN’s Josina Anderson to talk all things football, music and lifestyle. Both men shared with Anderson what their darkest moments of the past year were and how they were able to pull through.

During the chat, when the conversation turns toward Tha Carter V and Anderson asks at the 35:30 point how the rapper dealt with the weight of the expectation for the record. “Embrace it, that’s the only way you’re supposed to deal with it.” He also said that when he contemplated whether he wanted to put the album out or not that his mom gave him some good advice.
