While rapper T.I. has supported Kanye West for years, after seeing Mr. West’s visit to the White House yesterday, T.I.’s #TeamKanye days are over for good.

Kanye West visited Donald Trump yesterday wearing his famous MAGA hat, showing his support of the President while on his much-publicized trip. During his visit, West expressed his undying support for Trump, and maintained a smile throughout most of his time spent at the White House.

Not only did he receive a tremendous amount of backlash from his visit, even West’s former colleagues and friends expressed their disgust and disapproval, especially rapper, T.I..

In a lengthy post on Instagram, T.I. writes how ashamed he is of West’s behavior saying his visit was, “…the most repulsive, disgraceful, embarrassing act of desperation & auctioning off of one’s soul to gain power I’ve ever seen.”

Now I’ve been extremely patient and made it a point to not jump to any premature conclusions about Ye’& his antics… Partially due to the lessons learned from the outcome of other similar situations dealing wit my brother Wayne (which I admittedly mishandled a bit in hindsight) But now this shit is next level,futuristic Sambo,Hopping Bob, Stephen off Django ass shit Ye!!!! He goes on to say how he felt Kanye’s trip to the White House was shameful, and how he regrets ever being associated with the rapper.

“At one time it was a pleasure to work alongside you… now, I’m ashamed to have ever been associated with you.”

T.I. and West had previously teamed up on “Ye vs. The People,” a single based on the controversial behavior of Kanye West and his dedicated support to President Trump.

This song will most likely be the last collaboration the public will see between the two rappers for as T.I. states, “…I refuse to associate myself with something so vile, weak & inconsiderate to the effect this has on the greater good of ALL OUR PEOPLE!!!!”

While the people may be “confused, heartbroken, infuriated,” the King of the South writes in his post that he would like to make things clear.
