Jay-Z and Beyonce have been on a steady trek with the On The Run II Tour and the powerhouse couple’s recent stop awarded the moguls in a major way!
The Carters’ humanitarian and cultural efforts have earned them the key to the city of Columbia, South Carolina. During the Columbia stop of the U.S. leg of On The Run II, Steve Benjamin, Columbia’s city mayor, presented Jay-Z with the key to the city.
Capturing the moment with a classic black and white photo, Benjamin shared the honor with the following message:

Not only did Queen Bee and Jay cop the key to the city, but August 21st is now officially Beyonce Knowles Carter and Shawn Carter Day in Columbia.
