Dame Dash recently sat down with DJ Felli Fel where he checked film director Lee Daniels for not returning a $5 million loan, the former Roc-A-Fella Records mogul needed to clear the air on former Def Jam Recordings executive Lyor Cohen.
Getting some things off of his Chest, Dash took to his IG to remind Cohen of the long business history they have together, having worked closely since Jay Z’s ‘Reasonable Doubt,’ Roc-A-Fella days, and how Lyor is a “culture vulture.”
Posted with an accompanying video and featured audio clip, Dame writes:
I been trying to warn you about this #culturevulture clown for years…he tries to make us believe he’s better then us but he’s a lame…trust me I know…he’s a cheater and isn’t respected by his own kind so he fronts on us…he personally fucked shit up cause we were bigger then him…you know how they do..classic culturevulture shit…divide and conquer…. his buisness model is keep us dumb…and take our money and fees his family and laugh at us behind our back…
As Dame expresses his disdain for Cohen, it continues to bring up the conversation of the hip hop culture and community being monetized for big corporation gain.
