According to sources, Anna Wintour, editor- in- chief at Vogue, has granted Beyonce full creative rights to the upcoming September issue. This means she will have all control over the issue’s cover, any photos of her on the inside, and all captions.
Beyonce is using her platform to hopefully make some changes to the diversity of the magazine. She hired Tyler Mitchell who will make history by becoming the first black photographer to shoot a Vogue cover in its 126 year history. The 23 year old has Queen Bey to thank, as she “used her power and influence to get him that assignment,” a source familiar with the Vogue editorial process explained.
