Kim Kardashian receives backlash after sharing an Instagram post, where she was reportedly paid half a million dollars, of a morning sickness pill, but not disclosing the potential side effects or that it was pulled off the market for causing birth defects. After a few hours she deleted the post and replaced it with a more detailed caption on the product.

Even though there was a lot of controversy surrounding Kim’s post, the company, Duchesnay USA, saw a 21% increase in their sales months following Kim’s promotion of this product. However, this is not surprising considering that Kim has over 100 million followers on Instagram.
