Cardi B is counter-suing her former manager Klenord “Shaft” Raphael, KSR Management and WorldStar Entertainment Group for more than $15 million. The suit was filed yesterday in the Southern District of New York.

In the suit, Cardi alleges “self-dealing” and “deceitful and disloyal conduct.” She says her manager was trying to control too many aspects of her personal life, including the relationship with her now-husband Offset. Her ex-management team is accused of trying to take more than what they deserved under a typical management contract, and says Raphael tried to take 50 percent of her Sony Music publishing deal.

Klenord Raphael known professionally as “Shaft” sued Cardi B back in April for $10 million. He claims he “discovered” her and says he is personally responsible for the success of “Bodak Yellow”, he is also claiming breach of contract and defamation. At the time of the original suit, Shaft said it was Cardi’s publicist/makeup artist that turned her against him.
