Down-to-earth Jennifer Lopez always reminds us that she’s still just “Jenny from the Block.” J-Lo took to social media, posting a clip from Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz’s funeral with a caption stating, “#justiceforjunior.” Lopez, a Bronx native, showed her support and brought awareness of Junior who was brutally killed outside in the Bronx a week ago.
Jennifer Lopez posted the clip a week after his passing, but Cardi B showed her support early on. Rapper, T.I., who is known to be voice about social justice also candidly spoke to the press stating, “It starts with a dream[…] What you dream you can accomplish tomorrow will keep you from making [bad] decisions.”
Movie Love also posted a letter on Twitter addressed to the New York City Commissioner of Consumer Affairs. The letter asks for the store owners to be held accountable for “standing idly” while the 15-year old asked for help. He was then dragged out of that shop and stabbed repeatedly with a machete.
