Today, hip-hop lost a young talent, whose life was taken too soon due to gun violence.
XXXtentacion’s short impact on his fans and music is being shown all over social media and while some of hip-hop’s biggest names might have not directly worked with the 20-year-old rapper, everyone from veterans like Kanye West, to J Cole, Big Sean, Lil Yachty and more have all taken to social media to share their condolences.
In a tweet, Big Sean says:
My heart dropped when I heard about @xxxtentacion, I feel like we only got to see glimpse of his artistry. I didn’t know him personally but I respect how passionate he was about his music and message.

R.I.P @xxxtentacion No one can be so self-righteous that they are happy when a youth dies. The young still have the capability to reform. God bless the kids. #xxxtentacion
