Justin Credible & DJ Sourmilk’s First Thoughts on Kanye West’s “Ye” Album

After getting their hands on Kanye West’s latest project “Ye” here are 3 of the L.A. Leakers favorite tracks and thoughts while listening:

“Violent Crimes” (Feat. DeJ Loaf, Nicki Minaj & Willow Smith)

Justin Credible- This is a track I feel like a lot of fathers can relate to. He talks about how having his daughters changed his entire perception of women and I respect that a lot.

“Til n****s have daughters, now they precautious
Father forgive me, I’m scared of the karma
‘Cause now I see women as somethin’ to nurture”

“No Mistakes” (Feat. Charlie Wilson & KiD CuDi)

Justin Credible- Something I like about this track is how Kanye expresses how he is battling himself.

DJ Sourmilk- The production of this song is crazy. I was also excited to hear Charlie Wilson on this track,I’m a fan of him and Cudi.

“All Mine” (Feat.Ty Dolla $ign & Valee)

Justin Credible- We really get to see a more vulnerable side of Kanye on this track and I thought that was dope.

Dj Sourmilk- There is a line in the song that caught my attention where Kanye mentions Tristan almost being single… There is a lot humor on this track and he is being silly, but it still has a good message.

The only problem Justin and Sourmilk had was that the 7 songs was only a taste of what Kanye has been working and left them wanting more. The good news is Kanye’s next project with Kid Cudi “Kids See Ghosts” is scheduled to drop next week on June 8th.
