At the age of one, DJ Khaled’s son Asahd might be the freshest kid on the block. He has already been the executive producer on an album and gotten signed to a deal with the brand Jordan to promote their kids line.

As of yesterday, reports say that DJ Khaled and his wife Nicole Tuck have filed to trademark 18-month-old Asahd’s name (which means “lion” in Arabic) on a number of different products like jewelry, clothing, linens, perfumes, keychains, video games, and perfumes. Additionally, Asahd’s parents want the right to brand children’s goods such as pacifiers, strollers, books, bibs, teething rings, fruit snacks and even mini electric cars for kids.

This might come as a surprise to some but it’s really not too big of a deal. We all know that DJ Khaled is a mastermind and constantly doing things to expand his brand and upping the Khaled image.
