Over the weekend, Cardi B had the chance to party it up with one of her major idols. 

At Madonna’s annual Oscars afterparty, Cardi B had the chance to perform in front of Madonna herself. 

She shared a picture of the event on Instagram saying;

“I met my real life IDOL Madonna. I can’t even believe I performed at her event and it was the most meaningful performance ever,” she wrote on Instagram. “I grew up with my mom listening to Madonna for hours. I performed “Material Girl” freshman year in High school, listen to her on all my photo shoots to have super confidence and always mentioned her in my interviews. The best part about it is she was everything I thought she would be a Liberal Kick ass feminist b***h I’m soo happy.”

Along with partying it up with Madonna, Cardi’s picture featured Kim Kardashian West, Quavo and Offset. 

Then this happened last night… Iconic. @iamcardib @madonna @kimkardashian. To see Cardis idol Madonna embrace her in the way she did lastnight was soo inspirational. I watched her perform for Madonna lastnight…I watched a dream come true rite before my eyes ✨
