Since the release of Black Panther the film has garnered some $704 million dollars internationally. Bob Igor, Disney CEO spoke out about Black Panther being an “important moment in culture”.

Igor also mentioned that come Halloween and Christmas time we will be seeing a lot more Black Panther merchandise and that there is possibly a ride in the works.

Disney has 11, billion-dollar franchises and Black Panther should be the twelfth. “We haven’t had a chance to build a ride yet” said Igor, “Though I’m sure there are people working on it.”
