Wale is definitely in the studio working on new music.

Yesterday, January 11, the rapper dropped his remix answer to TDE first lady SZA’s ‘The Weekend,’ and now the DC native is dropping hints at what we can possibly expect from a forthcoming project.

Sharing a short clip to his IG story, Wale shows that he and J Cole are working on some ‘new vibes.’

While J Cole sits back in the clip, nodding to the untitled track, Wale takes camera duty to capture the private studio session. Although the two emcees may have beefed in the past, the future collab definitely means they’re cool again.
