Chris Brown makes headlines again. This time, he could be facing criminal charges for illegally having a pet monkey. As reported by TMZ, the R&B singer never obtained a permit to keep the animal. Allegedly, several people took the matter to the California Dept. of Fish and Wildlife, who proceeded to open an investigation.

CB first caught heat last month after posting a picture of his daughter Royalty holding the baby capuchin monkey named Fiji. This lead to concerns of the monkey being a danger to the 3-year-old and how it belongs in the wild. Of course, instead of attending to the matter, Chris deides to tell everyone to chill.
