Mary J. Blige is finally being honored with one of Hollywood’s most pristine awards when it comes to fame. 

After years and years of work, Blige is about to receive her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

Yes, that’s right, nine Grammys, 31 nominations, and her decade-long career later this tie has finally come.

“Mary J. Blige is one of the most popular singers of our generation,” ceremony producer Ana Martinez told Variety. “Fans will be thrilled to see her star on the Boulevard as her career milestones are celebrated on this very famous sidewalk.”

Blige will be awarded the plaque by none other than Sean Diddy Combs on January 11th right in front of the Eastown. 

Combes has had a long history with the”Whats The 411″ singer as he was the executive producer at the time. 

We can’t wait for her to finally have a star and look forward to seeing it one day soon! Congratulations to Mary J. Blige on an amazing career.
